A Rochester woman charged in the death of her boyfriend's daughter won't go on trial next month, after all.
Erica Bell was reportedly assigned a second attorney today, and is now set to have a pre-trial conference July 17.
The new trial date will be set then. Bell is charged with second-degree murder in the blunt force death of 3-year-old Brook Stagles last fall.
The dead girl's father, Michael Stagles, is charged with criminally negligent homicide. He was released from jail on electronic monitoring yesterday while he awaits his trial.
