A Monroe County man has died in an accident in Yates County.
It happened around dinner time last night in the Town of Potter. Deputies say 79-year-old Douglas Hey was found trapped beneath a rear tire of his vehicle. He was freed and died later at a hospital in Penn Yan.
Hey reportedly had been having vehicle trouble. Authorities say he was underneath it when it went down an embankment and dragged him with it.
