There's no definitive explanation yet for mysterious lights spotted over Lake Ontario.
People photographed the lights around 9 last night. The U.S. Coast Guard told 13 WHAM it is investigating, but said it had ruled out basic flares.
Canadian armed forces reportedly were conducting training operations last night, but a military spokesperson told a news website in Canada that the training did not begin until after 9:30 -- after the lights were seen.
