The Buffalo Bills announced they have hired Panthers assistant general manager to become their new general manager.
Beane was considered a favorite throughout the GM search with his Carolina connection to new head coach Sean McDermott.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Bean's contract is the same length as McDermott's.
The Bills will introduce Beane in a press conference this Friday at 10:30 a.m.
