A Waterloo High School teacher is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly making inappropriate comments to a student.
New York State Police say 44-year-old David Rautenberg was arrested after an investigation by state police determined he had inappropriate conversations with a female student while at the school.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in court at a later date.
Rautenberg has been with the district for 14 years.
