Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio has been cleared of all allegations that she violated the terms of her DWI sentence last year. Canandaigua Judge Stephen Aronson ruled this afternoon that there was insufficient evidence to prove Astacio had been drinking on two different occasions. Once at a Henrietta restaurant and once and a family Thanksgiving Party.Judge Aronson also rejected the alleged violations of the ignition interlock device in her car as Monroe County had improperly transferred oversight of the device to Ontario County without a court order. As a result Astacio's license has been reinstated. While she does still draw her salary, she has been relieved of all judicial duties. She is also under investigation by the state's Commission on Judicial Conduct for misconduct, which could recommend that she be removed from the bench.
