A Wyoming County woman is facing charges after authorities say she stabbed a man during a domestic incident.
The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office says on Sunday, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Perry Road in the Town of Sheldon for reports of a man who said he had been stabbed with a knife.
The man was taken to the hospital with cuts to his arm and was treated and released.
Following an investigation authorities arrested Janet Adamczack and charged her with second degree assault, tampering with physical evidence and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Authorities believe Adamczack was arguing with the man before she stabbed him, then attempted to hide the knife from authorities.
