Police in Geneva are investigating a suspicious incident.
Authorities say around eight o’clock this morning three children between the ages of five and seven, were approached by a white van driven by a man in his 50's or 60’s near the area of Castle and Pulteney streets.
The man told the kids that the school had sent him to pick up students.
The mother of the children intervened saying that they would wait for a different bus and the man said he “usually picks up kids that are running late or miss the bus.”
The woman notified Geneva Police, who say they are working closely with the Geneva Central School District regarding the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
