Rochester Police are investigating a shooting on the city's northwest side.
Police say a 28-year-old man was shot in the back, shortly before 5 o'clock on Steko Avenue, west of Dewey Avenue.
He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but his injury is not considered life threatening. No arrests have been made at this time.
