Springwater, NY -- A Springwater man is in the Livingston County lock-up on charges he assaulted a 5-month-old baby.
The Sheriff's Office says the child is at Strong hospital with multiple skull factures and multiple broken ribs.
Matthew Sackett, 22, was arrested Wednesday on charges including first-degree assault and reckless assault of a child.He was ordered held on $75,000 cash bail.
Child Protective Services is assisting the investigation.
