Rochester, NY -- A Rochester woman is under arrest for allegedly stalking and threatening a woman she knows with a butcher knife. The woman surrendered after police say she ignored an officer's orders to drop the knife, and the officer fired a shot in her direction.
It happened around dinnertime Tuesday night in the 300 block of Garson Avenue. The shot missed the suspect -- Xiomara Roman-Negroni -- but she dropped the knife and surrendered.
The officer has been given administrative duties pending a routine internal review.
