Irondequoit Supervisor Gives Update Following Christmas Eve Fire

The Supervisor of Irondequoit says he and his staff are working out a program of buying new and used trucks to replace the ones destroyed Christmas Eve when half the town highway department garage burned down.

The town lost a third of its snowplow trucks and its sewer maintenance vehicles. Supervisor David Seeley says the town can’t afford to just buy a dozen new trucks all at once, and his goal is not to tap into Irondequoit’s reserve funds.
