Sex offender allegedly exposes himself to kids in Victor store

Victor, NY- A level three registered sex offender is facing charges after authorities say he exposed himself to two 11-year-old children while in the Michael's Arts and Crafts store in Victor. 



The Ontario County Sheriff’s office says Paul Goodrell, 47 of Canandaigua, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness for the incident that ocurred on Sunday January 22.

Deputies arrested Goodrell on Tuesday January 31 at the Ontario County Jail.  He was arrested on Tuesday January 24 for parole violations. 

Goodrell has been convicted of public lewdness five times dating back to 1989. 

In 2006 he served 3 years in state prison after entering Newark Middle School naked.  

In November 2010 Goodrell exposed himself to some teen girls in the city of Auburn and then broke inside the high school  exposing himself to another girl.  

In December 2010 he was arrested by Brockport Police after he was caught  flashing a woman at a laundromat in the village.  

He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the Auburn incident, but it was knocked down to 6 years on appeal.
