The Rochester officer who shot a suspect to death on Christmas Eve was justified in using deadly force.
That's according to the state Attorney General's office.
Officer Daniel Celiberti opened fire on Todd Novick on Murray Street, after bodycam videos showed Novick displaying what appears to be a handgun during a foot chase.
Novick was holding what turned out to be a replica gun.
He was heard telling police he was trying to put down the gun, and apologizing.
