(13WHAM) Rochester N.Y.-A man hurt when a tree fell on top of a car he was in is recovering today. He was released from the hospital overnight.

Howard Sumi of New Jersey was hurt in East Rochester Sunday when a tree toppled onto the car in which he was riding.
The driver, 47-year-old Jeffrey Miller of Pittsford, was killed.

Investigators believe rain may have softened the soil causing the tree to uproot.
