Murder Parolee Charged in Rochester Bank Robbery

Terry Manuel

A Rochester murder parolee is now facing charges in a bank robbery.

Police say 59-year-old Terry Manuel held up a teller at ESL Credit Union on North Goodman Street Saturday, then ran away.

Manuel was arrested yesterday at a meeting with his parole officer.

He served nearly 20 years in prison for a deadly stabbing on Lyell Avenue in 2002, where police say he stabbed the victim 117 times.

Manuel was released last year.

He now faces robbery and grand larceny.
