UPDATE: The victim of a homicide in Wayne County has been identified.
Newark Police say 49-year-old Conan Guard was stabbed to death by his roommate, 35-year-old Jared Nesmith, at a home on Cuyler Street.
Guard's decomposing body was found last Tuesday on the Zurich Bog Trail in Arcadia after a tip.
Nesmith is charged with 2nd-degree murder, evidence tampering, and concealing a corpse.
He has an extensive criminal history, including several violent incidents.
