Committee Recommends Censure for Monroe County DA Doorley

The state’s Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct is recommending a public censure for Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley, and the report says she has agreed to resign.

It comes 15 months after Doorley's infamous traffic stop in Webster caught on video.

She was seen on body camera video berating an officer.

The report says she called Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier three times, to try to get him to call off the officer.

Doorley admitted driving 20 miles per hour over the speed limit before the stop.

The commission's recommendation now goes to the Attorney Grievance Committee.

Asked if she plans to resign, Doorley said by text to our Bob Lonsberry, "not at this time."
