Rochester Man Sentenced on Federal Child Porn, Drug, Gun Charges

A Rochester man will serve just short of 39 years in prison for producing child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 48-year-old Kelvin Hunt was convicted of child porn, as well as drug trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm.

Hunt was first convicted on state charges in 1995 and served prison time.

In 2024, he entered the home of a 14-year-old girl and raped her, using the girl's cellphone to record the incident.

A joint local and federal investigation led to a search of his hotel room and finding the incriminating evidence.

Hunt pleaded guilty to a state kidnapping charge in January.
