RPD: Arrest in Shots Fired at Monroe Ave. Apartment

A Rochester man is accused of firing an assault rifle inside an apartment on the city's southeast side.

Police say 27-year-old Todd Romig opened fire yesterday morning at a building on Monroe Avenue, just north of 490.

No one was hit.

Police say they found the loaded rifle, along with 2 magazines, 34 pounds of marijuana, and over $50,000 in cash.

Romig faces a gun crime and cannabis possession.
