A Penn Yan woman will serve 6 months in prison for running over and killing a one-year-old child.
27-year-old Sarah Olsen pleaded guilty in January to criminally negligent homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Yates County Deputies say she hit the child last September on Route 364, near Carroll Road in the Town of Benton, then sped away.
Olsen was arrested the following day.
