Monroe County DA to Probe Irondequoit Town Supervisor Sex Harassment Claims

Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley says she will investigate to see if crionimal charges should be brought against Irondequoit Town Supervisor Andrae Evans.

In a statement, Doorley says they will look at "potential criminal conduct or for removal from office pursuant to Public Officers Law §36."

The case was referrred to her office by the Town Board and the Irodnequoit police after an extensive outside report found he credibly sexually harassed a town employee.

That report obtained by our Bob Lonsberry found there was enough evidence for a credible claim, but not enough to say he retailated against that employee.

Evans had issued a statement through his attorney apologizing for any harm to his accuser, but said the report is political
