NYC Man Pleads Guilty in Brighton Teen Kidnapping Case

A New York City man has pleaded guilty to all charges after he kidnapped a 14-year-old girl from Brighton and held her captive in the Bronx for more than 12 hours.

Serdar Ozmen was charged with first-degree kidnapping as a sexually motivated felony and four other sex crimes.

The girl disappeared from her home last March and police learned she had been exchanging text messages with a person on social media before she vanished.

He drove to Monroe County to pick her up in the middle of the night and , abdcuted her, and took She was found alone in the Bronx apartment the next day.

Ozmen was tracked down through the girl's cell phone.
