An Orleans County man is facing a federal child pornography charge.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Christian Poole of Medina download illicit images off a social media app.
His phone contained nearly a thousand photos and videos of child porn, some of it violent.
Poole faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
He's due in court today for a detention hearing.
