Brighton police say a man who was struck by two cars while crossing South Clinton Avenue last month died at Strong Memorial Hospital.
61-year-old Bart Cherry was crossing the intersection of South Clinton and Elmwood Avenues when a minivan turning at the corner struck him.
He was then struck by a second vehicle, an SUV also turning from Elmwood Avenue onto South Clinton from the other direction.
Cherry suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital.
No use of drugs or alcohol was involved in the accident, and no charges are being brought against the two drivers, one from Rochester and one from Fairport.
