2 Accused of Abandoning Animals at Clifton Springs Apartment

The Ontario County Humane Society has charged two men with abandoning a dog and two cats in the Village of Clifton Springs back in August.

The animals were found in an apartment on Kendall Street where animal control officers had to enter and secure the dog and the cats, which are now being cared for.

Officers finally located the tenants who left that apartment, 46-year-old David Isaac and 65-year-old Richard Smith.

Both were living in a room at the Manchester Inn in Manchester.

Both have been charged with animal abandonment and issued appearance tickets.
