The pedestrian seriously injured when he was struck by an SUV in Penfield on Saturday has died of his injuries.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has identified him as 69-year-old John Alligood of Penfield.
Alligood was struck at the corner of Five Mile Line and Whalen Roads.
Deputies say the SUV was turning left onto Whalen Road and struck Alligood as he was crossing the street.
