UPDATE: Officials at Mercy Flight Central say no one was hurt when one of its choppers made a hard landing upon returning to the base in Canandaigua.
The pilot, a flight nurse, and a flight paramedic were on board.
It happened around 8 last night.
Mercy Flight doesn't know what caused the hard landing, and is investigating.
And their statement doesn't say whether the helicopter was damaged.

First responders were called out to Canandaigua Airport, after reports of a hard landing by a Mercy Flight helicopter.
It happened around 8:15 Thursday night.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says the helicopter was on its way back from a call, when it malfunctioned.
All 3 aboard were able to escape on their own.
