Onondaga County DA: No Charges for DA Doorley in Webster Traffic Stop

The prosecutor picked to probe Sandra Doorley's conduct during a Webster traffic stop is not authorizing any charges.

Onondaga County DA William Fitzpatrick called Doorley's behavior during the April confrontation with Webster officers unprofessional and wrong.

However, he says any charges brought against her would be unsustainable.

Doorley later put out a video apology, saying she was wrong for berating the officer who attempted to stop her for speeding.

A report from the County Board of Ethics released in July found Doorley didn't violate the state's General Municipal Law or the County Ethics Code.

The State Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct is still reviewing the case.
