Rochester Man Pleads Guilty in Edgerton Neighborhood Homicide

The man charged in an August homicide in the Edgerton neighborhood has pleaded guilty to 1st-degree manslaughter.

Prosecutors say 28-year-old Brandon Hall gunned down 31-year-old Alec Rouse at North Plymouth Avenue and Ambrose Street.

Rouse's family says the two got into an argument, after Rouse knocked on the wrong door while looking for someone.

Hall was arrested in January and indicted on 2nd-degree murder and 2 weapons charges.

He'll be formally sentenced next month to 20 years in prison.
