A Rochester man who was convicted of weapons charges in a fatal shooting in July 2022 will serve 10 years in prison.
Thirty-three-year-old Joseph Scott was acquitted last month of a second-degree murder charge.
Prosecutors say Scott got into a fight with 36-year-old Derek Taylor outside a Lyell Avenue bar.
He then allegedly chased Taylor to Lyell Avenue and Whitney Street, then shot Taylor in the chest.
