State police have released the name of the Oswego woman who was killed in a one-vehicle crash on the Thruway in Wheatland.
The crash happened before dawn Saturday in the eastbound lanes.
Troopers say 39-year-old Yolonda Heathcote drifted into the median, overcorrected, traveled across both lanes and went off the right-hand shoulder. Her Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled over several times.
Heathcote died at the scene. Two teenage passengers were injured and were treated at Strong.
