The City is reportedly looking closely at a second property owned by the person whose apartment house burned down last week on Hancock Street.
That house had 62 code violations, and was days away from being closed by the City.
13WHAM reports the owner has a similar apartment house on Vassar Street with an expired certificate of occupancy and five outstanding violations.
City Hall's top attorney, Linda Kingsley, tells the station the city wants to inspect the property soon. If conditions are bad, tenants may be forced to leave.
