PA Homicide Suspect Arrested in Wyoming County

The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office is reporting the arrest of a man wanted for a double homicide in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Twenty-eight-year-old Richard Smith was a passenger in a car stopped April 21 for traffic violations in the Town of Perry.

Deputies say he was carrying a valid Pennsylvania ID, in the name of his known alias. His identity was confirmed with fingerprints.

Smith is wanted for the shooting deaths of a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy in August 2017 in Colwyn, Pennsylvania.

Extradition is pending.
