Judge: AG Suit Can Move Forward, But NRA Won't Be Put Out of Business

A judge in New York City has ruled state Attorney General Letitia James can go forward with her lawsuit against top executives of the National Rifle Association.

However, the judge ruled her claims, if proven, do not warrant putting the NRA out of business -- as James had hoped.

The NRA calls the ruling a win, and James is disappointed and says her office is considering its legal options.

Her lawsuit accuses NRA executives of using millions of dollars illegally for personal trips, no-show contracts, and other questionable expenditures.
