Two Women Accused of Setting Separate Rochester Fires

Two women are facing arson charges for separate fires in Rochester.

The first happened around dawn on Friday at a mixed-use building on Genesee Street.

Investigators say a 21-year-old woman admitted setting the fire in an upstairs apartment during a domestic incident.

No one was hurt.

Meantime, a 43-year-old woman is accused of setting a fire yesterday in a picnic table area outside Rochester General Hospital.

She needed treatment in the emergency department.
