Rochester police say the death of a 72-year-old man is now a homicide investigation.
Jesus Pratts was found dead yesterday at an address on Kohlman Street, off North Clinton Avenue.
Police went thereafter they were asked to check on his welfare.
The Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide. No one has been arrested, and the Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
There have been 7 homicides in the city so far this year.
