Rochester Man Pleads Guilty in 2020 Homicide

A Rochester man has admitted to shooting and killing another man in the city a year and a half ago.

25-year-old Nicholas Serret pleaded guilty to 1st-degree Manslaughter today.

He admitted to opening fire on 22-year-old Shaqur Nesmith at Jay and Orchard Streets in July of 2020.

Serret will get 20 years in prison when he's sentenced in April.
