A federal judge has blocked the pre-trial release of January 6th Capitol riot defendant Cody Mattice.
His mother, Andrea Evert, tells Bob Lonsberry her son is not a danger, would never harm someone unprovoked, and doesn't have strong political views.
Mattice is currently represented by a federal public defender, but his mother says the family is trying to raise money to hire a private attorney.
