Bello Believes Health Care Services Will Continue Despite Vaccine Mandate

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello says he's confident Rochester's two health care systems can maintain services, even if employees quit because of the state's vaccination mandate for health care workers.

Workers demonstrating outside Strong Memorial Hospital against being forced into vaccination have raised concerns that many will leave on the September 27th deadline. Bello says his administration is making contingency plans, but doesn't believe they'll be needed..

Bello says there's still time to get more health care workers vaccinated. He says a $100 gift card is now being offered to everyone who gets vaccinated between now and the end of September.
