More School Bus Drivers Leave Rochester City Bus Services

The situation has literally been changing hour-by-hour, but Rochester School Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers-Small says the district today lost three more school bus drivers. Despite its best efforts, the RCSD still has 317 students with no bus to bring them to school and back tomorrow.

More than a hundred drivers have left the three school bus companies that serve the district in recent days.

Myers small says of those 317 students, those who can't make their own way to school will have to log in via remote learning tomorrow and until the transportation issue is resolved. She says the district continues to work with Regional Transit Service to see if they can squeeze any more students onto RTS transit buses.
