Religious Vaccine Exemption Eliminated for State Healthcare Workers

The state health department has eliminated the religious exemption for healthcare workers who don’t want to get vaccinated.

Some healthcare workers are concerned their jobs could be affected by the new rule.

The department set a September 27th deadline for all hospital and nursing home employees to get their first dose.

The deadline is October 7th for workers at diagnostic centers, home health agencies, school-based clinics, and hospice programs.
