Two women have already been appointed to fill important roles in Governor Hochul's administration.
Karen Keough will serve as secretary to the governor while Elizabeth Fine will work as Hochul's counsel.
Keough headed Senator Hillary Clinton's statewide staff. And she most recently served as the Head of Global Philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase
Fine is General Counsel of Empire State Development.
Hochul has already said all current department commissioners and personnel can stay in their positions for at least the next 45 days while she builds her staff.
