A Monroe County grand jury has handed up an indictment in a homicide on August 1st in the city's Maplewood neighborhood.
Twenty-six-year-old Ahmed Ali is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Arbay Chivala -- the mother of four small children.
Police say Ali reported finding Chivala unresponsive at her apartment on Argo Park. Police determined she was dead, and the Medical Examiner ruled she'd been killed.
Authorities haven't said how she was killed, or how Ali was connected to the death.
