REPORT: Buffalo Bills Owners Want New Stadium Built With Public Money

The Buffalo Bills owners have reportedly begun negotiations with the state and with Erie County to get a new stadium.

Sources tell "The Buffalo News," Pegula Sports and Entertainment has asked that the entire cost be covered with public money.

The stadium would be built next to the existing stadium in Orchard Park.

The current stadium lease deal expires in 2023. And the team has told government negotiators that there are other cities wiling to "pay handsomely" for an NFL franchise.

ESPN.com reports Austin, Texas, is a possible destination if the Bills leave Buffalo.
