A woman who Rochester Police say was attacked by a person with a hatchet, has since died of her injuries, making her the city's 40th homicide victim this year.
Police say 47-year-old Heather Majors died from injuries she suffered in the attack on Saturday on Chili Avenue.
No one has been arrested. But police it did not appear to be a random attack.
