Former Rochester Lawyer To Become First Female Chief Justice In District

A federal judge in Rochester is about to become the first woman to serve as Chief Judge for New York's Western District.

Judge Elizabeth Wolford was appointed as a federal judge by former President Obama in 2013.

Tomorrow, she will began a seven-year term as Chief Judge -- succeeding Judge Frank Geraci.

Before she became a judge, Wolford practiced law with the Wolford Law Firm
