State Officials in Talks with CDC About Changing Mask Policies in Schools

State officials say they're talking with the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about changing the mask-wearing policies at schools.

Governor Cuomo says he'd be in favor of removing the requirement that kids have to wear facial coverings even while they're outside.

The CDC says all of its safety rules need to be followed so in-person classes will stay safe.

Parents have been holding rallies statewide in recent weeks pushing for masking guidelines to be lifted.
