Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren Fires Back After Husband's Arrest

Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren says the arrest of her husband on drug and weapon charges is a political attack on her.

She made a brief and angry statement saying it's clearly a political move aimed at taking her out of the mayoral race.

She did not take questions from reporters.

Warren is running for a third term and is in a Democratic Party primary with City Councilmember Malik Evans.

The mayor says it's no coincidence that Timothy Granison's arrest comes just a month before that primary. She says her opponents will go to any lengths to break her.

The mayor told reporters "Call me when you figure it out."
