Rochester police say two teenage girls were hurt when someone drove a car into a group of people fighting with knives.
It happened yesterday near the corner of Pierpont and Mason streets in the Maplewood neighborhood.
The driver struck several people then hit the front steps of a house. It's not clear if the crash was an intentional act. The driver was gone when police showed up.
A 16-year-old girl was injured by the car, and a 15-year-old girl was hurt during the melee. Both are recovering.
